Bike Garage, a specialty bicycle shop in Pacific Beach, opened their brick-and-mortar shop early 2017. As creatives, our goal for Bike Garage was to innovate their brand to become a resource for the cycling community in San Diego, providing a unique online experience for their audience. During the brand positioning process with the client, we determined that Bike Garage needed a complete brand refresh.

With little to no brand recognition prior to working with Brandesso, a new brand strategy had to be established. We launched our efforts focusing on the rebrand and design of the website, branded photography to utilize for all digital needs, content development and alignment, and a strategic content calendar for social media, the Bike Garage website/blog, promotions, targeted posts, media outreach, etc.

Bike Garage is now on-brand across all digital platforms – starting from the website to all social media outlets. The brand is eye-catching, vibrant, but most importantly, memorable. The website is fully responsive & functional, with integration of social media outlets, e-newsletter opt-in, and placement for online storefront coming soon.

We partnered with a local photographer to execute our storyboard and vision for the Bike Garage brand. As the Bike Garage is located in Pacific Beach, the branding was to accentuate the lifestyle of cruising along the boardwalk on beach cruisers with friends and family.

Our process was to align our strategy with the mindset of the client’s target audience. We aimed to design the website to not only showcase what the client can offer to their clientele, but to also educate them on the overall “health” and maintenance needed to maintain the longevity of their bike. Customer Experience

We consulted with the client to construct a brand strategy to enhance their status as a leading brand in the cycling community.

This included constructing a “Frequently Asked Questions” section to attract their ideal customer. This assists the client to build an honest, promising relationship with their current and future clientele, highlighting their knowledge and expertise on the product and service they are offering.

In conjunction with the “FAQ” section, we consulted with the client on strategizing the “Bike Garage” process for performing tune-ups and bike repairs to showcase how they differentiate from their competition.

We then wanted to put a bold emphasis on the positive feedback the client receives from their customers. This transitioned into our brand strategy efforts by not only creating a successful story for the client, but for the customer.

Once the brand story and strategy was completed, the management was simple. All imagery for social media correlated with the Bike Garage aesthetic, showcasing products, biking lifestyle in San Diego, promotions, important bike/biking facts, and community engagement.

SEO: Unique monthly pageviews increased by 3,025% in one month after the website re-launch due to keyword research, on-page seo, content optimization, and image optimization.
